BEHIND THE MAKER

     Hey, I’m a 17-year-old with a vision. I believe in the power of personal style and the impact it can have on one’s confidence and self-perception. I’ve noticed that many kids my age don’t pay much attention to their appearance, often opting for comfort over style. However, I want to change this mindset. I want to inspire my peers to take pride in their appearance, to dress well, and to present themselves in a way that reflects their individuality and boosts their self-esteem.

     I firmly believe that when you look good, you feel good. Dressing well can instill a sense of self-confidence and self-worth, which can positively influence various aspects of life, from social interactions to academic performance. Moreover, I want to redefine what style means for my generation. I want to shift the pinnacle of style from being about following trends to being about self-expression and individuality.

     To achieve this, I’ve chosen to start with something simple yet impactful - belts. Belts might seem like a small detail, but they can significantly elevate an outfit. They add a touch of sophistication and can be a statement piece that reflects one’s personal style. For me, belts were the starting point of my style journey, and I believe they can be the start for others too.
